It's an older one but certainly one of my favs. A very talented cast and at the time an original script. (1991). Cuba Gooding Jr was top notch. Ice cube was way better than anyone gave him credit, and even though I didn't grow up in the "hood", I thought the movie did wonders in expressing just what it's really like. (At least to me).  |

excellent movie for me too. it relly describes the neighborhood i grew up in well. i grew up in south central los angeles.
i remember when that movie came out, there were alot of cops at the theater cause of the gang violence. |
