I am thinking of buying the KickerKX400.1 mono amplifier but am not sure of the rated RMS power. Most places on the internet say it is 400 watts rms @ 2 ohms (200 watts rms @ 4 ohms) but others say that 400 watts is the max power(underated as it may be). The kicker website does not specify whether it is 400 watts max or rms so I was just wondering if anybody here had an idea. Thanks for any response |

400 watts rms at 2 ohms. it's under rated so it's more like 490 watts rms at 2 ohms. |

so it is rated at (at least) 400 watts rms? in other words, it is rated using its CONTINUOUS value? its not something like 200 watts rms @ 2 ohms, 450 watts PEAK @ 2 ohms? |
