i have been doing some research and i have found that most of the people i have asked, have referred me to memphis. i found a memphis mojo 16-MC2000D amplifier, rated at 2400 watts rms! is this a truly quality amp, if not any suggestions for at least 2400 watt rms? the amp below

Did you guys know that 2400 watts is about 3.2 HP? You could almost mow the lawn with that or definitely do a bunch weedeating and edging. -Fishy :P |

I haven't had experience with that particular amp, but given the Memphis amp's I've heard and seen used I'd say it definately does it's rated power if not more, very good amps. 3.2 hp, Here a little trivia: The Duryea Brothers are credited for the start of the American Automobile Industry, making a 1 cylinder, 4 horsepower engine for their vehicle in 1896, and only 13 of them were made. It's amazing that the amplifiers of today are making nearly the power (some more than the power) of the first production autos. |
