i have a kicker l7 15 with 4ohm dvc and a rf 851s amp. the amp is bridgable at 4ohms. what would be the best way to hook up my speaker to this amp? someone plese help

yes. run the amp in stereo and put one coil on each channel.

by the way, be sure to use a low pass filter for the sub, set to around 80Hz or so, and run the amp in mono mode if you have that option from the amp or head unit or crossover.
you want both coils to get the exact same power and signal.
be very careful balancing gains if you have separate ones for left and right channel.

it's slightly tricky to set up a DVC sub like this, but it's do-able.
