I have just taken out my car sound system as I am changing cars, however it will be some months before I get my new one. I was wondering as the stuff will just be sitting in a box is it possible to run my car head unit off of mains power to put in my den for the meanwhile. I understand that it takes 13.4v dc but is it as simple as buying a transformer? Is this very costly? I only have head and set of 6x9's and 2 5" front speakers that are all mounted in a speaker box. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Dan.
