I have heard that these amps are a little underrated, is this true?

how many watts RMS would a JBL BP600.1 really put out @ 1ohm w/ a 14.1V charging system?
(i know it may vary from amp to amp, but what would it be on average for this model???)

The thing puts out 600W true RMS, and is a great amp.
