I have an MTX 2150x, and I think its somewhere around 450watts rms. I think I only really need a 1/2 farad cap, but maybe it would be better to get a 1 farad cap incase of a future install, not sure. Any way, I am wondering what you guys would recomend as far as brand name, does it matter? Oh, and I got around $100 for it, but the cheaper the better.

if you want to do things right for future upgrades get a high output alternator and skip the cap....i have the 2150x as well on my 6 x 9's and if i remember right it has a 60 amp fuse rating so that amp plus another for highs would easily put you in new alternator territory depending on your cars alternator rating (basically if your lights dim you need an ho alternator esp if you are going to upgrade)
