i have 2 12 inch kicker L 5's and i was gonna get the jbl 1200.1

that will push them right??


and do i get the GTO 1200.1 or the BP 1200.1

It will push them...but why jbl. I install most of the brands at my shop, including jbl. Rockford's Power series(back to old school) just seems to blow away everyone right now. No kidding! Very clean and very, very powerful. What kind of prices are you getting on the jbl's?

JBL BP amps are good amps for the money.

they will do their rated power and then a little more, the run cool, and are just an all around good amp. RF Power series amps may be better (havent got a chance to use the new power amps myself) but you are going to pay a pretty penny for them!

the only thing the JBL BP amps lack is a subsonic filter, but you could buy an FMOD 20hz highpass for them for bout $25. you would only need an FMOD if you are going w/ a ported box though.

JBL makes good amps, but for the life of me i cant understand why the discontinued the BP series!!!
