Can someone please tell me in DETAIL how I hook up an amp and 2 10's up to a factory head unit?

follow the directions that come with the amplifier.
use a mono sub amp with high level inputs, and two single coil, 4 Ohm subs.

use an ignition line from the fuse box for remote trigger on the amp, and use a proper amp wiring kit to match the amplifier.

The amp I have is a 4-channel Phoenix Gold amp QX4150.

The subs I have are (2) 10' Phoenix Gold's QX10

then you'll need to follow the manual directions for bridging the amp to two channels as well, and be sure tehy are wach a 4 Ohm sub.

Do I have to buy some kind of convertor since my factory head unit doesn't have RCA input/output>?

when you buy that convertor(line out converter they call it)more money you spend the better it will sound, but no matter what it will effect your sound quality.If you can buy a new radio with rca outputs. especially with your equipment.

if your amplifier has high level or speaker level inputs, there is nothing you need to buy.

the speaker wires from your rear speakers.
download the manual in PDF format for your amplifier and read the instructions.
It tells you all of this in detail, with illustrations.
