I'm going to be pushing one RE x x x 12" with dual 1 Ohm vioce coils and i was wondering wich amp would be better for this application. The Memphis mc1500d that will push 1500 watts into my sub at 2 ohms. Or i could have 2 Arc Kar 900.1s pushing 900 watts into each vioce coil but that would cost a considerable ammount more. The memphis would put out slightly under the x x x's RMS and the 2 Kars would put slightly over. What do you guys think?

the x.x.x. doesnt need 1600w to reach xmax, that is just a thermal rating.

the memphis may be too much power. a single Arc would match it pretty well!!!
