I just bought a pair of 12' Infinity Reference Subs 1200 watts 300 RMS and I purchased a Pioneer GM-X862 760 watt amp. I think at 4 ohms the amp is rated at 125 RMS, will this work ok? I mean will it sound ok? I plan on buying a ported box for the subs but, wanted to recheck everything on the amp because I only paid $40 bucks for it on ebay. Any suggestions? |

Continuous Power (14.4V): 125Wx2 (4 ohms), 190Wx2 (2 ohms), 380Wx1 (4 ohms). I would consider getting another, if you only paid $40. That amp will power 1 of those subs effectively if you bridge it. |

Stupid question here but, would it work to have 2 of the same amp wired to each sub, so each sub had its own amp? Or would it just be better to get one good amp? |
