So, I have decides to rework my BMW 323 convertibles sound... with an alpine head unit and jl audio speakers all around... and my question is.... what amps to use? Would one rather have alpine with the ability to control settings from the headunit or match up the speakers with JL audio power? Or is there a better line of amps out there for clean power... because any advantage of matching up amps to anything is useless?

Both companies make good amps but JL Audio is a LOT better IMO. It really doesn't matter about matching products because some companies are better at some things then others.
