I have a new head unit that I had bought for my previoius car, which is actually a "better" stereo than the factory one in the new Scion tC...but I dont wanna get all into that right now with having to fill in all the gaps left due to the difference in size between the two and all that, I just figured there had to be SOME way to hook up the amp AND subs AND keep the factory stereo intact.

If ya wanna keep the factory radio you will need something called a hi lo converter. This will convert your speaker wire to allow you to run rcas to the amp.

Here is what you need, what david said. Just tap it into your speaker lines, existing on the back of your deck.
