I have a new head unit that I had bought for my previoius car, which is actually a "better" stereo than the factory one in the new Scion tC...but I dont wanna get all into that right now with having to fill in all the gaps left due to the difference in size between the two and all that, I just figured there had to be SOME way to hook up the amp AND subs AND keep the factory stereo intact. |

If ya wanna keep the factory radio you will need something called a hi lo converter. This will convert your speaker wire to allow you to run rcas to the amp. |

http://www.tune-town.com/installation/line_out_reducers.asp Here is what you need, what david said. Just tap it into your speaker lines, existing on the back of your deck. |
