I know they are good, but I was wondering how 'good', good is. Im looking at both the KAR and the XXL right now, id get the KAR if its still better or comparable to JL.
Where does the KAR and XXL series stack up against other good brands like JL, Kicker, Orion, or Audison (Audison is more $$ :S) |

In my opinion, the KAR is better than Kicker and Orion(excluding older Orions from the early 90s). Comparable to JL, I still like the JL better than the KAR series. I like the XXK series more than JL and Audison. of course, it's all in your opinion, I can't tell you which amp will sound better to your ears, so test as many as you can before buying. For premium SQ, you can't go wrong with any of them, especially the XXK, Audison, and JL. |
