Ok, I have recently purchased a legacy 2000watt amp and need speakers to go with them. Does anyone think that 2 15" Kicker Comp VRs be a good decision and if so should I used free air or just an airtight box with no openings?

Comp vrs or not recommend for free air. If ya want alot of bass go ported like for rap and real boomy music. If you listen to alot of rock that need real tight bass go sealed.
