i am compairing the brutis 1500.1 and the kicker 1200.1

it's pretty close, assumming that you going to do 1ohm load? I would go with the 1500.1D, Maybe little it more power very close (kicker's little bit under-rated) and draws less than the kicker.

Well, the Kicker is better in my opinion. And if it helps any, all the Kicker 1200.1s I've seen are tested at over 1400w RMS 2ohms. But Hifonics is a pretty good cost saving option.

1400rms @ 2ohms?? maybe @ 1ohm? That's very good if it's true. It's rated at 600x1 @ 2ohms for the 1200.1, if I'm not wrong. Kicker are underrated at most of the time.

You're correct, I appologize....thinking of JBL BP1200.1 1200w at 2 or 1 ohm. This, if you can find it, is also a good option.

Kicker amp is built better and has better SQ. Hifonics is a good cheap alternative, but personally I'd do a JBL 1200.1. Less iffy in my opinion, I've heard mixed opinions on Hifonics.
