If i want to put a switch to shut my amp on and off i i would put it on the remote wire but would i have to run an inline fuse to the switch as well??? and if i do how so i have to go about doing that?? any help here would b great....thanks in advance

Putting in a fuse is a good idea, it will provide some potection. you could try taping right off the battery and putting a fuse between the battery and switch and run the remote wire right to the amp. or if you want, tap into your fuse box and connect it to the switch then right to the amp.

you could also run the remote wire right to your starter fuse inside the fuse box then your amp will turn on when you car is on and shut off when your car is off.
