what would hit harder and what would have more SQ? 2 Vmax 12's or 1 kicker L7 solobaris 15" ...and would a JBL 600.1 be wnough 4 the kicker.. if not what would? |

I'd say if you do ported on V-maxes and with 600W RMS, they'd hit more SPL, the L7 would be underpower and is limited in excursion. They'd sound a ton better as well, and be more reliable. |

nice thanx..my friend and i were disagreeing about this.. ithought the vmaxs would be better and he thought the L7...what about 2 Vmaxes 12' vs 2 L7s 12"? |

Depends all on the enclosure and power, but I'd say the still say the 2 Vmaxes would give better SPL, given similar box designs. |

wow they seem like a real bargain then...but would the JBL 600.1 be enoguh for the 2 12" L7's.. i still like the way they look lol |

No, they'd be way underpowered. Honestly, L7s aren't that great. Cone flex, poor motor design, limited excursion, lead slap, odd stress points, added mass due to bracing needed to counter stress, all lead to detracted SQ and limited SPL. |

aite thanx alot 4 anserin my questions.. i was lookin at the L7's b/c i love the way they look lil.. but it looks like im prob gunna go w/ the 12' vmaxes and the jbl 600.1 amp..thanx again |
