i have a factory deck in a 1999 oldsmobile alero. i want to hook up an amp for a 10" MTX sub. i need to know how i would go about wiring it up. i would probably have to run high level inputs because i have no rca outputs. the only problem now is that i cant figure out how to get the control wire to turn the amp on. how do i get the amp to power on without the wire from the reciever?

Go to your Fuse boxes, I like to use the ACC (accesory) or the IGN (ignition) fuses for my remote wire. Just make sure the one you pick will shut off when the car is off, because some have constant power, which in turn will drain the battery in hours.
