HI all, thsi is the first time i have posted on this message board.

I have a problem with an American Legacy LA2060

yesterday the speaker wires touched and sparked whilst this amp was running a 15" DBAudio Sub

after restarting the amp i noticed that the cone on the speaker was pushing fully out when connected
i belive this to be the result of an open circuit due to a faulty component
no obvious burn marks on the inside
could anybody point me in the right direction as to find the problem, as it must be fairly simple
i have another one of these amps as a spare but it was cooked big time along time ago but some of the components may be ok

i am able to strip and solder if necessary
