When I start my car, my subwoofer only works for about 30 seconds, and only if the temperature exceeds 90 degrees outside. If it's cooler than that, it doesn't work at all. The amp is a Pioneer PRS X320. It was working great under all conditions until about 1 month ago.

Does your amp cut off and your HU or just the sub, and is the amp grounded properly?

Just the sub. I didn't install the amp, so I'm not sure if it's grounded correctly. I've had the car for 3 months and it worked great for the first two months. I thought the amp just shorted out, but because it works in the heat for a while, I'm not sure it has a short. Thanks for any help!
