I need an amp to run my audiobahn aw1206t DVC sub, 1100rms 2000max, i was looking at the kole q1-3000d, its a 3000watt amp that runs at 1100rms watts when wired for 4 ohms, and my sub has dual 4 ohm coils and can be wired for 2, 4 or 6 ohms. well anyway i need opinions and if this amp sucks i need suggestion for another. |

i would get that amp, accept it is in 2 ohm, so if i ran it at 4 ohm it would only come out to 600rms @ 4 ohm, and i would rather run my sub @ 4 ohm cuz thats what is recomended, have you ever heard of kole audio? |

I already answered your question on Kole in one of your cross postings.
If the sub is DVC, and it has two 4 Ohm coils, the sub will be a 2 Ohm load anyway once you bridge the coils in parallel, so again, the JBL will deliver 1200WRMS to the sub.
that also means 100A of current draw from your car's alternator, so I hope you've got a high output alternator that can deliver at least a total of 150-200A of current for the audio system and the car's own needs.
