i am hooking up 2 amps each with its own capacitor, do i put the capacitors before or after the distribution block?

you realize capacitors serve no real purpose, right?
that being said, you can place each capacitor just before the positive terminal of each amplifier's power connection, or you can combine the caps before the distro block so that each amp can use both capacitors as needed.
that's up to you.
