I've got a chance to buy a brand new $1200 memphis amp for just $750. it's a 5ch amp. and i have a brahma sub which are hard to find a mono amp for because of there independce(1ohm-4ohm). the 5th ch on this amp runs at 1ohm 1100rms. and the other 4ch run at 4ohms 55rms. The thing is i don't know that much about memphis and i was wondering if this is a good deal and is this amp going to compare to jl alpine or some of the other leading brands. any input would be great.

I would say get it. Memphis amps are one of the best out there and I would say they would be in the same league as JL and Alpine.

Thats a great amp, but you should look on E-Bay. 750 is too much to pay. I have seen them sell between 400 and 600
