I plan on setting up a decently powered system, of the following:

2 fronts, 100w each
2 rears, 50w each
2 subs, 400w each

I plan on running 2 amps (of course), the first amp running the front and rears. rears will be at an 8ohm load, the fronts at a 4 ohm load, by bridging a channel for the rear, and wiring the two rears together to get that 8 ohm). Second amp will be running two subs.

There isn't too much one can do about the fronts from what I know. But for the rear, what load should I get to minimize the strain on my alternator, and so I won't have to buy anything else for it to work smoothly? I just want to clarify that the higher the better (I was planning on 4 ohm)

Since I^2=P/R , the higher the resistance, the lower the current(I) it needs, and the less current the systems needs from the alternator, right?
