I want to get a directed 1100D mono to power 3 JL w3v2 drop them down to 1ohm. do you guys think this is a good amp and how does it compare to jl kicker 1200 memphis??? if i can get it for 250-300 should i

Directed makes good amplifiers in the lower cost bracket. Be sure the amp is rated to be 1 Ohm stable though.
Most amplifiers are not.
