i want a Alpine CDA-9813 head unit, http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-gIPk2UoUa9Z/ProdView.asp?a=0&s=0&cc=01&g=300&id=features_and_specs&i=500CDA9813. i also want CDT HD-62CF speakers, http://thezeb.com/caraudio/CDT_Audio_Components.html. the CDTs have 130 watt RMS frequency and the alpine head unit has 27 watt RMS power output. i don't understand why has 27 and the speakers have 130, that is a 103 difference. do these stats have any thing to do with eachother? also, could you take a look at both on the sites i gave and tell me if u think they are a good match?

Thank You

the power handling rating of the speakers are the maximum amount of RMS power the speakers can accept without causing damage to the voice coils by overheating.

the speakers will get 27 watts each from the 9813, so they will be well within their specifications for avoiding damage.
Later if you want them louder, you can add a 4 channel amplifier to the system, bypassing the Vdrive internal amp, that can supply more RMS power, such as the Kicker KX300.4 or JL Audio 300/4
