Ok well I ordered two audiobahn 12's... They say 700 watts RMS.... I understand this is the recommended amount of watts to run to the speaker.... so does this mean I should get a 1400 watt amp? or should I get more and max it out as much as possible... Also what is a good amp to get in the range of 150 - 300 dollars... thanks everyone.... help me out

you don't really want to exceed the RMS rating of the speakers.
for $300, the JBL BP1200.1 will deliver 600WRMS to each of two 4 Ohm subs. that's 1200WRMS total, which will mean ~110A of current draw.
This means you're going to need a high output alternator as well.
