Out of the whole stock system I have replaced the deck with a Pioneer DEH-2600 and hooked an MTX 12" Sub (Unsure of wattage) and MTX Thunder Amp to it. Sounds pretty good for me so far, but it can be better. The sub is in a sealed box (those boxes you buy at the audio store with the carpet) and is mounted on the back wall of the cab. Now I'm looking at getting new speakers. I LOVE to listen to hard rock/alternative music and want speakers that will make my music come ALIVE!!! Front doors-6x8's (top part of the speaker covered up) Rear Super cab walls-6x8's as well (facing each other) Will consider tweeters if that will help and willing to make holes ANYWHERE in door for them (hehe) Looking for more sound quality rather than loudness Thnx!!! |

Hmm... Maybe I didn't get to the point in the previous post, my bad. Just want some 6x8's that will make Hard Rock/Alternative sound really good. Heck, maybe convince me to custom fit 6x9's or 6.5" round speakers... |

Front: $100-$150 Rear: $100 Heck, I might consider any speakers over that much. Just need something good (not competition) |
