I just bought some neon lights and dont want to pay the extra money to get them installed.. So i was wondering if anyone has ever installed them before, and if you have any tips on anything i may need to know.

I have a amp hooked up to my battery, i am wondering if i hook the neon lights up to the battery as well or if i some how hook them up to the cigarette lighter?

Don't hook them to the cigarette lighter. Bad mojo. The batery would be fine. Just be sure to hook the ground to the chassy not the battery. Other than that just follow the directions in the owners manual.
