I have 2 audiobahn AW1000q DVC 450W rms 900 Peak, 91 Db, 10'',2 ohm or 8 ohm operation, i want to know how to hook it up to a sony 1200W 2 ch amp, 2-8 ohm stero, 4-8 ohm bridged, max outputs-400wx2@4 ohm-600wx2@2 ohm-1200 mono, and a digital audio 1 farad cap if that helps any... I just need to know how to wire this to work right, no damage to the subs or to the amp, if ya could draw a picture that would be cool too, thankx |

Again are they dvc 2 or 4 ohm. The 2 or 8 ohm is the load you will put on the amp. again 2 or 4 ohm. |

The coils are probably 4 ohm each. Since it's a DVC, 2 4-ohms in parallel would give the 2 ohm load and if they were wired in series it would give the 8 ohm load. I don't know the answer of how to wire these to the amp in question, though. |

If they are dvc 4 ohm hook them up like this and you will bridge the amp. http://rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/wiringwizard/2_4ohmDVC_4ohm.gif |
