Ok, I now have my basic system. Heres my question. Which would be the best crossover to use ? My Eclipse 8443 HU has a crossover,my Phoenix gold EQ215IX has a crossover and my Arc audio 5150 amp has a crossover. I would think the one on the amp would be the best one to use, and to defeat the others, but I'm not really sure on this one. Advice would be greatly appreiated !!! |

alot of amp xovers are only filters, i'd use the one from the head unit, however you do have some great gear, hmmmmmm.....ok..this is what i would do, check to see how many decibals per octave each unit is, then go with the highest, 18db per octave is way more than enough, but i have a feeling you've got this one under control.
btw, never xover twice! |

use the XO of the Eclipse with it's preouts.
this will allow you to use the full EQ settings of the Eclipse.
