im looking for a mono amp that does around 800 RMS at 2ohms. when im looking at the specs i see the ratings at 12.5 and 14.4 vdc. what does that mean and what is the difference between the two? thanks for the help

the mtx Thunder801D will give you about 800 rms @ 2 ohms basicy you get 14 volts when the car is running an 12 when it your just running off the battery but higher end amps that say they give more power at 14 volts are much better.
