got a 95 z71 chevy.. going to use a cheap amp at first with 2 12" kicker comps, i have the power from battery 8g wire with fuse and ground. Then going to run remote from stock hu. but here is my question the stock hu has no rca output, i remeber seeing some1, take speaker wire and hook it up to the stock right rear speaker wire and left rear speaker wire and hook it up to an rca output box! is this right or will it work???? |

nope the amp has to have a hi level input(speaker wires from amp) |

Here is the part you need to wire an amp to a factory stereo:

Very easy to install, just hook up the right and left speakers and this converts the signal to an rca level. |
