So, here's the deal... I got the sony mp80 head unit, and a Signat 4ch amp all connected in my car.. The amp's running all 4 channels and using both front and rear outputs of my head unit (2 per ch). I need one more amp for the sub, so I have a few questions.. How do I connect the second sub to my head unit, since both front and rear outputs are taken? Do I need to bring electricity directly from my car battery or i can use the power output in my trunk to supply the amplifier? Tnx, newbie apritiatess ur help |

Well you will need to split one of the rcas using a splitter first to get your set of rcas to run to the sub amp. You can also use a distrubtion block to split the power and ground to be able to run multiple wires without having to run it all the way from the battery. When you do this make sure to upgrade your fuse under the hood also. |

why not get a crossover that way your sub will have a designated lowpass signal and your other amp will have its own high and mid output, also if you should use thicke wire form the battery if you havent already. |
