I was wondering what would be a good amp for 2 12 JL Audio W0's. I have no brand preference, and it would be good if i could keep the price around $150... |

Those are 125wRMS subs. I'll make 2 suggestions for 4ohm or 8ohm If they are are the 4ohm version you could go with: A.) XTANT A3001 - Excellant Amp for the money. Great reviews. $135.77 shipped http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=64573&item=5715044762&rd= 1 B.)Hifonics Brutus BX500D - this is also a good deal $152 shipped http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=18797&item=5714648902&rd= 1 If they are the 8ohm version, try these: A.)JBL GTO301.1 $155 shipped http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=18797&item=5714003857&rd= 1 B.)HIFONICS NX750D $181 Shipped http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=18797&item=5714518115&rd= 1 Was hard to find much in your $150 budget, but these should work. (even though the last one went over $30) My srong suggestion would be wait until you have a little more money like $200 even. Then you could get like a JBL 600.1 FNG |

I was actually looking at the 600.1 awhile ago, and i liked it a lot. I did not buy it because i thought it would be too much power for my subs. If it is not too much power, then i will definetly buy that amp. Do you think it is too much? |

if you run it at a 4ohm load it will put out 150watts per sub which would work fine. |
