i have a sony xplod amp that has a max outout of 222 watts altogether, I am currently running one 100Wrms sub and it runs it nicely and it sounds pretty good for such a low powered setup, if i got another one of the same sub, and ran it off the same amp, which clearly isnt powerful enough for 2, would that sound better than just the one ive got at the moment? or would that be a waste of time? thanks |

Alot of it depends on the sub. What kind of sub you got right now. |

Yea its waste of time, It wouldnt do no differnce and if it did, it would be for the worst. What i would do, since you say they sound pretty good, and if there what you want, GO out buy a new amp like a 450w 2-channel Mosfet. Or If you really want to get crazy be like me spend alot of money and get the new 12in Audiobahn AW1208T 6000w Max Power. I better stop there.. BUt yea keep that in mind.. You would like it. |
