What companies make very good reputable amps? I've heard that Rockford Fosgate makes good amps, but I have also heard that their more recent 2000-present day products have lost a bit of their quality. Please reply, I am thinking about the same set up posted above for my Explorer. |

To be honest, for the price, I know that the JBL amplifiers are a great buy. Extremely reliable, and put a good sound out. The kicker amps are nice, as well as the MTX thunder series amps are sweet as well. I'd stay clear of the Fosgate. They're not that great for what you'll pay for, therefore don't buy a fosgate amp. |
