My amp recently blew up and I am currently looking at a JBL GTO6000 amp. This is a 6 channel amp and I am going to run to alpine VR sub 500max 150rms and 4 pioneer 3ways 220max 60 rms. In the end I want to run the JBL amp for the 2 subs plus a pioneer sub 800max and then get a JBL GTO4000 for the speakers. I was wondering what sized power cables you guys would recommend? Do you run a large cable to the rear of the car then distribute when you get to the amp or do you distribute at the battery and run 2 cables. Should you only run power cable large enough to fit in the amp power connection. Im looking at a kit that has a 4 gauge power cable for the cars length and also includes and 8 gauge cable both with earth and a distribution block? What are some ideas on this. Thanks
