I am looking to get into some different amplifiers as I have slightly modified the setup of my stereo, and I was thinking of a ZX4000, and 2 BX500D amplifiers. The ZX4000 will be powering my Perfect 6.1s, whereas the BX500D will be powering my each one Infinity Perfect sub(10").

My question is regarding the overall performance of the amplifers, and their actual reliablity. Ie... are they descent buys?

IMO the guys you have asked will proably say they arent that great but everything ive heard about them are good. The put out rated power and run efficent and are a good bang for the buy. These are my opinions from what ive heard.

They're good for the price range. Same reason as Davids, they most likely will be very reliable and do what they're supposed to do according to specs.

I was looking at the Hifonics Brutus, instead of a JL amp, that would be powering a 13w7. Or should I just stick with JL Amp?
