Thread: Amp for RE SX12 |

RE rates the sub at 1000w RMS, but since thats thermal, what would one suggest would be the power that I run to it? Here is what im thinking: Alpine MRD-M501 (550w) Kicker KX600.1 (600w) JBL GTO601.1 (580w) MTX Audio Thunder801D (800w, too much?) These are all around the $325-$350 range, in case you have any other amp suggestions. Out of those, which would you take? I found very few good amps between the 600-800 range.

Damn, Ive been looking at too many subs, I thought they were 4ohm DVC, but they are 2ohm DVC. Back to amp shopping :S |

Hmm, looks like I CAN wire them to show a 2 ohm load.... god I need some sleep. |
