does anyone know where to find the mounting depth of vehicles online. i have a 1996 nissan pathfinder xe and cant find any information on the mounting depth of their speakers

They are right 99% of the time. Sometimes they don't say, however, when an opening needs to be modified to achieve said depth (as in "remove factory grilles") like Crutchfield does.
