I'm thinking about buying just one 12w7 for my ford taurus and maybe buying another one later on but for now what do you guys think would be the best amp for this sub? I've read a lot about it and heard about the JL 500/1 and the 600.1. I just wanted to get some more opinions about it. Also, what would be the best box to get for it? Thanx for any help. |

Get the 12W7 if you want to spend the cash on it and the JL 500/1 amp. I would just get a 12" Adire Brahma subwoofer and power it with a Kicker KX600.1 amp. Cheap and sounds just as good. For ultimate SQ put it in a sealed enclosure (this goes for the JL and Adire sub) or if you don't care about trunk space get a large ported box custom built tuned to 29 hz. that box would dlam and have good SQ. Both subs are really nice though. |
