My amp has been working fine and then today I took it out and hooked up another one to see if it was better, it wasn't so I put the original back in. Now the red light on the original lights up when I have the 12v and remote cable hooked up but when I hook up the ground wire the amp just shuts off completely. I tried regrounding it and it still does the same thing, I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong?

it sounds like you might have tripped out something inside the amp, it might need repairing. its best to disconect you battery terminals when wirering amps, because if something touches you might burn your amp out.
