Ok, 2 power acoustic 10" fubr subs (DVC 2 ohm per voice coil.) (600rms, 1800 max) Im going to get a class D amp. I am trying to choose between either: Memphis mc1000d... 600 watts at 2 ohm OR Orion 1200d... 750 watts at 2 ohm (and just tone it down a little) Which amp would suite me better??? |

hey Jason. My name is David and I manage a car stereo shop called Alta Mere. I hope you don't think my opinion is biased just because I run a car stereo shop. I sell Memphis products in my store and I have to admit that they make a very nice product. The only down side is that their amps and subs are overpriced. If you want to, do a little research on Alphasonik amps. preferably the PMA1000HC. I think you will be impressed Everything that Alphasonik rates is in Rms power. PMA1000HCA 2-CHANNEL HIGH CURRENT POWER AMPLIFIER 500 Watts x 2 @ 4 ohms Stereo 900 Watts x 2 @ 2 ohms Stereo 1500 Watts x 2 @ 1 ohms Stereo 3000 Watts x 1 @ 1 ohm Mono Dimensions: (W x H x L) 230 x 67 x 660mm 9” x 2 5/8” x 26”
