Are soundstream amps, like the (Soundstream VGA 1600.2 Van Gogh Series), good amps? good SQ? durable? long lasting? |

They "ain't what they used to be" is the basic feeling. Since they got bought out by Directed, you're not dealing with the same quality parts.

Top of the line. especially Van Gogh. one of the Top 10 amps out there, maybe 5. pricey though. |

They got bought by Directed who also owns Power Acoustic and a few other names. |

all Directed now.
not that impressive, and I can think of five amplifier companies I'd go with above Directed just off the top of my head.
