need help. i just bought a 1972 chevy monte carlo and it already had a viper 300 security system in it . but there are four wires that are cliped. they are two red and two black. and when i connect the two red wire the alarm stays on. when i just connect the black wires it does nothing. when i connect a black wire with a red wire and the same with the other wires it does nothing. and i dont have the transmeters. plz help

you would be best taking it to an install shop to look at.

your other option is to pull the brain of the alarm out, and then tracing all the wires using the diagram on the back, out to where they go and see what's going on.

the last place i worked at sold remotes for that model for $30ea
