Here's the scenario. I have a dual 15" bandpass box with 2 Audiobahn AW1508T subs. I have a Rockford Fosgate 1000bd and it doesn't put out enough juice to crank these up to any respectable volume whatsoever. I also have a Sony Mobile ES Amp (can't remember the model number.) Can I bridge the two amp to up the power or not? I'm not sure. Let me know. |

No you can't. Your only option is to get a larger (much larger, 4,000 RMS) amp to push them with. Personally, I think you'd be cheaper and better off to go out and get more efficient subs than spend a bunch of money on a 4 kilowatt amp to push those with. There are many subs that will hit harder with less than half the power that you'd be giving those. |

or replace those subs with better, more efficient subs. that'd require less power and probably give better results in the end as well.
