Hi All, I'm looking for an amp for my car. My speakers are rated at 10-100 rms. I have 6.5's component set and 6x9's.. I'm looking for something on a budget but good quality if it exists. Someone recommended a 75x4 Profile amp and said they are good for the price. Any opinions are appreciated. Greg |

If you're looking for an amp to power standard speakers, don't spend a whole lot of money. I'll tell you what i use is this old amp i got ripped off on with ebay. It's a Cuspid X-treme or something like that. It was really cheap. It was advertised as a subwoofer amp, but it wasn't. I'm not recommending that kind really, but i'm just giving an example of what can work. My advice is go to maybe wal mart and buy a cheap one. When you buy subs, never settle for a cheap one though. Just my two cents jake |

Kicker KX600.4 75w x 4 @ 4 ohms terrific amp as well. I think it's around the $250 range.
