they told me that there is a universal code that opens up the kenwood cd players which is introduced by the remote.
does anyone have or know a place where i can get this code.
i called kenwood and they asked me about $40 to just look at it and $60 for the code.
i am a college student which means i never see that kind of money.

contact the place you bought the unit.
if they sold it to you they shoould service it.
we're not going to list any codes here. we have no way of knowing this unit isn't stolen.
This is exactly why the feature is there.
